Plant the tubers preferably during the autumn in a well-drained neutral to alkaline soil. They require dappled shade or a bright indoor position out of full sun. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 3-5cm. Keep the soil moist until the plant dies off, reduce watering when the leaves yellow and keep the bulbs dry when they are dormant.
